Introduction
Standout Adventures is run and managed by Mary Kariuki. Mary was born and bred around Mt. Kenya area. During her school days, she used to be a girl guide and this is where she learnt to love and become aware of the rich diversity of wildlife that we have in East Africa. To get more experience, Mary joined the American Naional Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). This is a world recognized mountaineering college specializing in all outdoor pursuits. The course covered all aspects of mountain climbing and first aid.
Mary is rated the best female guide on both M.Kenya and Kilimanjaro. Her vast experience in tour leading is well accompanied by her sense of humour. You will be amazed by her keen organizing abilities. Though Mary and Standout Adventures is backed by a team of knowlwdgeable, courteous and attentive staff, she organizes and conducts every expedition. You can rest assured that you are in the safe hands of an expert as you proceed to realize your vacational dreams.
