Day 1 Nairobi

You will be met at the Nairobi International Airport and transferred to a hotel for your overnight stay to prepare for the Best of Kenya.

Day 2 Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru

After breakfast at your hotel, leave Nairobi for drive to Nakuru, stopping for a boat ride at Lake Naivasha. Much of the lake is surrounded by forests of the yellow barked Acacia, known as the yellow fever tree. These forests abound with bird life, and Naivasha is known as a world class birding destination. Leave Naivasha for onward trip to Lake Nakuru National park. Lunch is served at Lion Hill Lodge in Nakuru upon arrival. Lake Nakuru is a soda lake on the basin of the Rift Valley. The main attraction to this national park is the large concentration of nearly two million flamingos that flock seasonally to feed on the blue-green algae. You may spot resident rhinos as you enjoy your afternoon game drive. Drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Masai Mara National Reserve

Leave Nakuru for drive to Masai Mara, the perfect wildlife sanctuary. Lunch is served upon your arrival at the lodge. The greatest animal spectacle in the world – The Great Migration, occurs here every year. Besides the numerous zebras and wildebeests, the park hosts rhino, giraffe, topi, elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, jackals, hyena, hippo and much more. This park, which is an extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti, has more wildlife than anywhere in East Africa. The Masai, who live and graze their herds on the outskirts of the park, enjoy a peaceful co-existence with the wildlife. Enjoy a 2 hr game drive in the Mara and then back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Masai Mara National Reserve

An early wake up call will be followed by a cup of tea or coffee before a game drive. Then, back to the lodge where breakfast awaits. You will then have some free time to laze by the pool, have lunch or visit the gift shop before your afternoon game drive. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Mombasa

Leave Masai Mara for drive back to Nairobi where lunch will be served. Drive to the Wilson Airport for flight to Mombasa which leaves at 1400Hrs. Upon arrival in Mombasa you will be driven to your Mombasa beach resort for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 Mombasa

This day is at your leisure to enjoy the beach and facilities on the beautiful Indian Ocean. Half board accommodation is at Serena Beach Hotel. Optional tours available in Mombasa.

Day 7 Depart

Drive to Moi International Airport in Mombasa for 9:00 am flight back to Nairobi. You will be picked up in Nairobi and taken to the famous Carnivore Restaurant for a sumptuous BBQ lunch. You are then driven back to the Jomo Kenyatta airport for your homeward bound flight with memories of the best of Kenya.
