Chogoria Route down Sirimon: 6 days trek

The chogoria route down Sirimon gives explorers a great expedition of the eastern side of Mt. Kenya beginning in the equatorial rain forest zone. Here visitors may see elephants grazing on the vegetation, cape buffalo, and possibly even leopards in the bush. Colobus monkeys are often spotted as well. The route down Sirimon follows one of the prominent canyons to the north, with great views stretching out toward the rugged landscape of the Samburu and Turkana.
